    JUNO Award Winner

    Mohawk Blues Piano Man

“Murray Porter is one of those rare musicians who can stop a room in its tracks. The moment his fingers hit the keys, you find yourself turning toward him and watching as he breathes life into the piano. But when he starts singing you are in his world and what a rich and wonderful world it is!” - Kim Wheeler

    — Siriux/XM Indigiverse

Soulful Vocals with Powerful Piano Blues to match!!

Here's a few cool blues musicians he's had the chance to share the stage with...

Murray Porter shared the stage with hundreds of Artists including opening for the late B.B. King, the late Etta James, at the Tulalip Casino, in Washington State in 2008. Sharing the stage with The Neville Brothers, Tom Cochrane, Burton Cummings, Marcia Ball, Pura Fe, Derek Miller, Keith Secola, The Funk Brothers (twice), AND Master Soul Man Sam Moore. In his own words: “When I was about 11 years old I remember listening to blues radio under the covers at home late at night. This is when I first heard ‘The Thrill is Gone’ by B.B. King, and I was hooked! So to open for the Artist that started me on my blues journey is like a dream come true”.
